Medical Care in Jordan

Although the capital of Jordan provides good quality medical facilities, health care is limited in other regions. Al Khalidi Medical Center is one of the country’s leading private hospitals for both surgery and routine consultations and is linked to the international network of Massachusetts General Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In the event of complications, the Jordan University Hospital also offers satisfactory care.

Pharmacies are of excellent quality in Jordan, and their pharmacists are only allowed to practice with a certificate. These services offer many drugs, which are thoroughly regulated by National public health authorities who also monitor their import and sales within the country.
