Montserrat Travel Vaccines and Advice

While traveling to Montserrat, please keep in mind some routine vaccines such as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, etc.

Although Montserrat was subject to a devastating Volcanic Eruption in 1995, it has made a seemingly remarkable recovery managing to delight visitors with its wonderful natural features and history. Often known as the ‘Emerald Isle of the Caribbean,’ its luscious greenery bears a resemblance to coastal Ireland. Montserrat is home to many rare and endangered wildlife. Make sure to try the national dish ‘goat water’ – it is more delicious than it sounds and best served with crusty bread rolls. There are many tourist extrusions in Montserrat, such as the Antigua Tour or the Montserrat tour excursion. Why not make a visit to the Montserrat Volcano Observatory – an interesting peek where the chaos all happened. The national museum also documents this remarkable historical event. If you would like to catch sight of some glorious views, book onto the island safari adventure for the best look at English and Falmouth Harbors, or take a sugar cane plantation tour.

Make sure you know about Montserrat’s medical care and safety and security tips.
