Medical Care in Niger
Before visiting Niger, make a doctor’s appointment one month before departure in order to properly update your vaccinations. It is a good idea to bring your own medical kit, especially if travelling with children. You may find yourself in need of a medical center during a visit to Niger. In this case, the private Gamkalley Clinic is recommended. However, please note that medical equipment in areas outside of urban centers is not reliable.

Do I Need a Visa to Visit Niger?
Prior to travel, make sure you check with your transportation company about any passport requirements. This is important as in some cases their regulations on passport validity may be more strict than those of the destination country.
Both, a visa and a passport are required to enter Niger. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of departure.
