Medical Care in Bermuda

Due to its geographical location, Bermuda does not pose many health risks for travelers. Despite this, you will be able to locate hospitals which offer good quality medical care. The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is popular amongst foreigners, as is the Hamilton Health Center. In order to access treatment for more serious diseases, you will be medically evacuated by plane to the United States.

The archipelago is home to many well-supplied pharmacies, particularly in larger cities. These are open every day. However, as always, you should endeavour to bring a stock of necessary medication in a first aid kit if travelling abroad.

In case of an emergency, you should dial 911.
