You cannot help but admire the magic of Cyprus, a country which is both charming and fascinating. Famous for its magnificent Byzantine frescoes, ancient marine treasures, and delicious mezze and kebabs, the culture is unparalleled. Interesting cities are scattered in between authentically rural, mountainous and coastal landscapes. You must spend a fair amount of time in the country in order to fully immerse yourself in the Cyprian culture. Home to castles and monasteries, mountains resorts, and vast expanses of forest, this country offers something for everyone. For those interested in archaeology, Cyprus offers fascinating ruins dating back to the Neolithic period. Note that a rainy season is nonexistent here, and thanks to its Mediterranean climate, Cyprus offers you a comfortable temperature all year round.

Medical Care in Cyprus

In Cyprus, the quality of care provided is good, yet slightly more so in private clinics than in public health facilities. Most of the doctors practicing in the country have studied in the United States or United Kingdom. Nicosia is home to a new, well-equipped hospital center. Other establishments popular among foreigners include Limassol General Hospital, Larnaca General Hospital or Paphos General Hospital. The care offered is reliable, but the cost is quite substantial.

In order to source good quality and reliable drugs, you should visit the Dena Karacosta Pharmacy.

In the case of an emergency, dial 112.
