Although medical personnel have been well trained in Serbia, problems lie in the equipment and medical facilities, limiting the health system. If you seek routine care whilst staying in Serbia, use the Bel Medic General Hospital in Belgrade. Whilst you can find military hospitals in Kosovo, these tend to deal with very urgent cases. In rural areas, you will find it particularly difficult to access adequate medical care.
